Alexandra -candle
You are that frail candle light,
Glowing a tender might
The slightest breath you and will flicker
Anything more than a timid whisper
And you will leave in a gentle quiver.
I fear to murmur what I wish,
Again I do not want to loose what I cherish.
Too long it took me gain our frail trust,
My whisper too heavy, but your leave was unjust
You fluttered away, burning me with lust.
Could these words be any true?
Too much I envy those near you:
Not afraid to say what will blow you away
Not afraid to blemish your delicate display;
It seems again I lost your gentle stay… |
