Lace

Our limbs lace into one another’s company,
Tying, tightening closer towards ecstasy;
Both straining to that knotting point,
- Together we lay loosely joint.
Until, again our linking strength returned,
Teasingly reignited and gently burned.

Her young skin sweeter then her tender scent,
For every soft kiss, the faster the heart went!
We lie there and to her ear my winning lips press,
Whispering words I dare not and could not express.

The closest you and I could ever get,
The easiest way I could love without admitting it!
More often we softly and slowly met,
No longer on my tongue these burning words could sit;
But you were not worth a common sentence,
And my sincerity could match its expense,
To pay a phrase’s cost for your presence,
Is to value you with words easy to dispense……
