Unfair
You, please look into her great dark eyes
Gaze into them, see her quiet demise:
With all that founding history going to ruin
He prances about regardless like a harlequin,
Deaf of my heart’s voice, yet nimble to others
Why do I still bother, because it still matters.
Wait I’ll give him a clue, I’ll hug him longer,
But with that I grow weaker not stronger,
I give him a heavier kiss a softer embrace,
I know for that moment his heart shares my space.
I wish and I wonder does he even care?
Just smile, do not tell him, it will be unfair. |
